Hands down the best way to make sliders, this recipe for Easy Baked Cheeseburger sliders won’t have you flipping individual patties! Bake the hamburger all together in a pan and serve on top of soft Hawaiian rolls. It’s the best way to serve sliders!
Delicious and easy to make sliders are perfect for your next game day or party. Also, simple and fast enough to make for a weeknight dinner. Get tasty sliders without having to turn on your grill.
Gone are the days of having to flip twelve individual mini hamburger patties. Now you can get crowd pleasing sliders done in minutes just by baking the patty in a 9 x 13 baking dish or quarter sheet pan ahead of time.
How to Make Single Patty Cheeseburger Sliders
Guaranteed that once you make sliders this way, you’ll never go back! So easy and less mess, this simple recipe comes together in minutes and tastes so amazing.
Firstly, prepare the hamburger meat. Combine all of the hamburger ingredients in a bowl and press into a 9 x 13 baking pan or half quarter sheet pan. For this recipe, I used 88/12 lean ground beef, but you could substitute whatever ground you prefer.
Bake the meat until desired doneness is reached. Know that the burgers will go back in the oven when assembled to cook longer. Once the meat is cooked, drain the excess oil and set aside while you assemble the sliders.
You can customize the sliders how you like. For this recipe, I used sliced cheddar cheese, yellow mustard, and spicy pickles.
Start by cutting the rolls in half lengthwise using a serrated knife. Place in a 9 x 13 baking pan. Spread the mustard on the bottom half of the rolls.
Using two large spatulas, carefully place the baked meat patty on top of the rolls. Add on the pickles and cheese.
Position the pickles so that they lie on top of the individual slider buns.
Lay the top layer of buns on top of the cheese. It’s fine if cheese and patty hang over the buns.
Butter Sesame Topping
Lastly, make the butter glaze to top the Easy Baked Cheeseburger Sliders. To do this, mix together the melted butter, sesame seeds, and garlic powder. Use a pastry brush to brush all over the tops of the buns.
Bake until the tops of the sliders are golden and the cheese is melted and gooey. Let sit for a minute, then use a serrated knife to slice into individual sliders. Serve immediately.

Huge hit with my family tonight! I opted for no pickles, and added some diced onion to the top of my beef. It was delicious!
Ok these are delicious and super easy! Any tips on preventing the bottom buns getting soggy? I drained as much juice as I could before transferring the meat over, but it seemed to have a good amount more after being cooked more! Still so good, just a little messy but would def make again!
So happy you enjoyed them. The only think I would recommend is to drain the meat and eat them fast! You could try blotting the meat on a paper towel before adding them on top of the buns. Or even add a layer of cheese on the bottom to protect the buns. Hope this helps!
Huge hit. I cut to the chase in seasoning and used a generous shake of Montreal Steak seasoning. My burger mix was a package of 85/15 and 80/20 which meant good flavor and a lot of grease. I used Dijon mustard and added special sauce (Hidden Valley) to my toppings. They were gone in 5 minutes.
Hi Betsy. Thanks so much for the comment! I’m happy to hear the burgers were a hit 🙂

Are they better w sweet Hawaiian rolls or more of a butter roll? They look fabulous!
I love them on Hawaiian Rolls, but any bun would be delicious!
These are so good! The tips and instructions you gave made them the best! So many recipes say to pour the melted butter over the sliders and we always have soggy buns. Now I know!

Thank you so much for posting this fabulous recipe with clear and concise instructions. I made these for a bunco group and they were loved by all! The only thing I did differently is that I put the cheese on the bottom when I assembled them. That way, the tops could be lifted and picky eaters could choose what condiments they wanted on their burgers.
Great suggestion! So happy you enjoyed the sliders 🙂
This recipe is easy and delicious. I have made it over 10 times. Thanks thisdelicoushouse for an easy way to get dinner on the table!

These made me famous at our baseball tournament this weekend! I cooked the meat the night before and warmed the meat in the morning and then finished the process with the buns etc. I cooked meat initially for 15min and in the morning with the cheese and buns an additional 10-15 minutes. Fabulous! Will definitely make these again!
So happy you loved them! Thanks for the make-ahead tips too! 🙂
