Pineapple Margarita Recipe

If you are looking for a tasty make-ahead cocktail recipe, then this is it! With tropical flavors including pineapple and orange, guests are sure to love this tasty and fun cocktail. And you are going to love how easy it is to make!

Firstly, you are going to need to juice about 12 fresh limes. Fresh lime juice is key for a delicious pineapple margarita; the store-bought stuff just isn’t going to cut it!

My favorite way to juice limes is using my handheld Zulay Metal Lemon Lime Squeezer. I love that this works for both lemons and limes, without having to buy extra utensils.

Next, add the lime juice into a pitcher along with the pineapple juice, orange juice, tequila, and triple sec. For this recipe, I like to use the traditional canned Dole pineapple juice and Simply Orange Juice.

As for the alcohol, I would highly recommend using a clear silver tequila like Sauza Silver. As for the triple sec, it is an ingredient that can’t be skipped. I usually have a bottle on hand just for margaritas, but any store-bought variety will work here.

Stir together all of the ingredients in a large pitcher and refrigerate until ready to serve.

To serve, you can pour into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and serve in a margarita glass. This drink is also excellent served over ice, not shaken. Make up to three days in advance. And, if you love tequila, don’t miss my delicious and refreshing Grapefruit Paloma recipe!
