- Cinnamon: I like a little bit of cinnamon flavor in my cannolis. This is completely optional.
- Mini Chocolate Chips: the chocolate adds that necessary flavor component to this recipe. You can use regular-sized chips instead.
- Pistachios: use shelled lightly salted pistachios here. Crush them up in a zip top bag before adding to recipe.
