Turkey Burger Sliders are an easy and delicious way to make individual turkey burgers fast! Make one large meat patty and serve on King's Hawaiian Rolls.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 9x13 inch baking sheet or baking pan with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Press mixture into a prepared baking pan. Bake until the patty is cooked through, about 15 minutes, and registers 165 degrees on a meat thermometer. Remove from oven and drain off excess juices; set aside.
Slice the entire pack of buns in half lengthwise. Place bottom half into a 9x13 baking dish lined with foil. Spread yellow mustard evenly across the buns. Use two large spatulas to transfer the meat patty on top of the buns. Lay pickles on top of the meat, dividing amongst the sliders. Top with a layer of cheddar cheese slices. At the bun tops, pressing down on them gently.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, sesame seeds, and ½ teaspoon of garlic powder. Use a pastry brush to spread the mixture on top of the buns.
Bake sliders for about 10 minutes, until cheese is melted and tops are golden. Slice sliders into 12 individual portions using a serrated knife. Serve immediately.
Notes
Use a ground turkey mixture that is about 90-93% lean. If you get one that is too lean, the meat will be dry.
I like to press the meat into a 9x13 inch baking sheet (quarter sheet pan), but you can use a baking pan as well.
Use a serrated knife to carefully slice the buns in half. Careful not to make the bottom layer of buns too thin.
Use whatever toppings you like for this recipe. Ketchup, red onions, or bbq sauce would all be delicious.
Bake the sliders until the buns just start to turn golden brown and the cheese is melted. Use a serrated knife to slice the sliders into individual turkey burger sliders.
