1poundbacon strips, cut in half (about 14 strips, 28 halved)
5.2ounce containerBoursin Cheese(I like the garlic and herbs flavor)
28dates, pitted
toothpicks
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a baking sheet with heavy duty foil, set aside.
Prepare your date making station by laying out the 28 strips of bacon (14 halved), the Boursin, and the dates. Cut long slits into the side of the date (remove the pit if not already pitted). Use a small spoon to stuff about a teaspoon of cheese into the date.
Wrap a piece of bacon around the date and secure with toothpick. Repeat with remaining dates.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping dates halfway through, until bacon is crispy. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Make ahead tip: Prepare the dates up to 2 days ahead of time and bake before serving.
