Italian Sliders are filled with all of your favorite Italian sandwich flavors on pull-apart slider bun. Topped with a garlic seasoning butter, this is sure to be your new favorite slider!
½cupbanana peppers, drained and diced(mild or hot)
6slicesprovolone cheese
¼cupunsalted butter, melted
1teaspoonItalian seasoning
1teaspoongarlic powder
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Without pulling them apart, cut the rolls in half lengthwise using a serrated knife. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a 9 x 13 inch baking sheet.
Layer two slices of salami on each bun. Then, sprinkle on the diced red peppers and banana peppers. Add on the provolone cheese slices. Place the top of the bread on the sandwiches.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Use a pastry brush to brush the tops of the sandwiches with the melted butter.
Cover the pan with foil and bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are warmed through. Pull apart sandwiches to eat.
Notes
The classic King's Hawaiian Rolls are easy to use for this recipe. You can substitute with your favorite pull apart rolls.
Using rounds of salami rather than large pieces of lunch meat allows you to "pull apart" the sandwiches after baking. Or, you can use whatever Italian meats you like, just fold them so they fit on the individual rolls.
The combination of jarred roasted bell peppers and banana peppers adds a lot of flavor. Feel free to use your favorite jarred veggies for this recipe.
If making ahead, prepare the recipe, cover, and refrigerate. Bake right before serving.
