In a separate bowl, whisk eggs white and cream of tartar (or lemon juice) until firm peaks form.

Stir together the egg whites with the almond flour, along with Amaretto liqueur and almond extract

Roll the dough into balls and coat in powdered sugar. Bake for about 25 minutes or until they crackle.
